How do I play Culmgrid?
Tap an empty cell, then tap a digit from 1 to 9 to place it. Fill the grid so every row, every column and every 3x3 block holds the digits 1 to 9 exactly once. Switch on Pencil to add small candidate notes, Erase clears a cell, and Undo and Redo step through your moves.

What happens when I make a mistake?
A wrong digit is marked and the Mistakes counter goes up. There is no game over: each mistake takes 50 points off your score for that puzzle, so you can always finish. You can turn the rose highlight for wrong digits on or off in Settings with Mistake highlight.

How do hints work?
Tap Hint on the game screen. The hint names the technique (Last Free Cell, Naked Single or Hidden Single), highlights the cells that prove it and walks you through the steps with Back and Next. On the last step, Place it puts the digit into the grid.

How are points and levels calculated?
Each solved puzzle gives a base score for its difficulty, plus a time bonus for solving quickly, minus 50 points for each mistake. Points add up to your total, and every 1,000 points raises your level by one.

How do I reset my progress?
Open Settings, tap Reset progress and type RESET to confirm. This erases your results, solved daily puzzles, the current game and total points. Your settings stay. To clear only the current grid, tap Reset on the game screen: your digits and notes are removed, while the timer and mistakes stay.
